Mursion in their research and development efforts around AI applications to behavioural analytics. Challenges included measuring interpersonal effectiveness during high-stakes 1:1 immersive training simulations.
I draw from my various experiences as a researcher, an assistant professor, and a start-up founder to analyse the latest literature and advise with concrete technical approaches and implementations tailored to the use-case and data collected by Mursion. We met weekly for one hour with Mursion CTO.
In a second phase, I helped supervise an engineer working towards a ML pipeline to automate the analysis of interpersonal effectiveness and the associated impact of the Mursion training programmes. This work led to a joint scientific publication in Nature between Mursion and collaborators at Duke University, the Univeristy of Necada, and the University of Glasgow.
