My mission was to support the CTOs of Moressier (Research Publishing Tech, $16.5M Series B, Germany), R5 (Fintech, $7M Series A, Colombia), Tikweb (Software Venture Studio, Denmark), Mursion (Conversational Analytics, $100M+ valuation, US), and Remazing (Solutions for Amazon, Germany) in transitioning their software start-ups to include more ML into their product and culture.
I used my experiences as an assistant professor to prepare suitable content to introduce the key concepts of modern machine learning to CTOs. The masterclass was delivered in six online sessions and had to be concise, yet complete, to provise value to busy CTOs of growing start-ups.
In parallel, I worked with each CTOs during 1:1 sessions to provide technical advise and feedback on where and how to apply ML into their current products. This involved quick iterations with me providing sample code to test on their own data between sessions which we analysed the following week.
